HIS fullness to fulfill HIS will

The Lord in His faithfulness, has provided all that you need, even as His word of promise that we continue to meditate upon declares saying – Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. [Psalms 34:10] His goodness becomes your very lifestyle, as you receive His gift of salvation, It is the message of the Cross, that has saved you. And it is the power of God, by which you are being saved or transformed through a renewing of your mind. As the apostle Paul writes to the Romans – Do not be conform any longer to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will… [Romans 12:2]

In HIM complete:

Challenges could come, but doing His will is always a mutual delight. And His provision is made available in His abundance becoming your adequacy. For in yourself you may find it to be daunting, but the truth is, you and I have been made complete in Christ. In Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ who is the Head over every power and authority. [Colossians 2:9,10] Salvation is becoming a new creation in Christ, made complete in Him, one step at a time. Receiving grace upon grace, out of His fullness is how it practically works out in you. [John 1:16] And His fullness is given to you for a reason, that you may find fulfillment by fulfilling the will of God for your life. Otherwise life could be one of sorrow and frustration. But God has given you grace, that it may not be so.

What does grace accomplish in you?

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you; do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourselves with sober judgement according to the measure of faith God has given you. [Romans 12:3] Through Christ, you can do all things to fulfill His will and plan for your life. What about my own plan and will for my life, could be the question in your heart. And the answer to it lies in the truth that His plan would be infinitely greater and better than what you could come up with on your own.

By HIS grace:

It is His grace and divine intervention that sees you worshiping in His presence here today, born at such a time as this, in a family that is yours. It is because He wants you to be here, and not just to make up the numbers, but for His plan and purposes to be worked out in and through you. And it is all by the grace of God, even as the apostle Paul testifies, But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No I worked harder than all of them, yet not I but the grace of God that was with me. [1 Corinthians 15:10] It is by grace that you are enabled and empowered to think as you ought to think, instead of following the pattern of the world, that thinks very differently.

In the valley of trouble:

When you are passing through a valley of trouble, and find yourself temporarily at the lowest point, the world’s thinking will be that of Job’s comforters, leading you into even deeper misery, by insinuating that you are experiencing the consequence of your own sinful wrong doing. But on this side of heaven you will have no answer to the reason why bad things happen to good people. Moreover there was only one person who was good, and He was chosen to be crucified by the people. The majority is not always right!

The steps of the righteous:

But then He is also the God who can turn things around, when bad things happen to you without rhyme or reason. The life of Joseph, the patriarch, stands testimony to the truth. Above all it was the transformed perspective that he displayed at the end of it all, as he with grace and forgiveness, was able to say to his brothers, ‘You sold me, but God sent me’. The steps of the righteous are ordained by the Lord through it all, even as you learn to trust and rely upon Him, even when you find yourself at the lowest point of a valley dark and deep., having questions, or answers that are seemingly not palatable. For whatever you are going through, you will come through, because God is with you, and it is when you reach the pinnacle that you will look back with a thankful heart, at all that the Lord has done for you. And the proof of your trust in Him, is the rest in you that you experience.

Right thinking made possible by grace:

It is all about thinking of yourself with sober judgement, as scripture advocates. For, If anyone thinks of himself more highly than he ought, he deceives himself. [Galatians 6:3] People tend to go beyond what they need to, think more highly of themselves, in trying to prove who or what they are to others. But it is needless, for, when you are a child of God, you just have to be a child of God. And thus, in your spiritual walk, you do not have to prove your worthiness, but just be the proof, of being in a relationship with God as your Heavenly Father. You do not have to accomplish an extraordinary feat, but just walk in your calling from God, carry on with your responsibility, and one day you will hear the words, ‘Well done’, from the Master Himself. It is the confidence you can have, for you have been made complete in Christ. He becomes your wisdom, and skill, and you can do all things well, through His strength. Therefore do not give room to pride or self pity in you. They are two sides of the same coin, and will both lead you to go beyond.

‘Will you go where I send you?’:

It was the decision that the prophet Jeremiah had to make, and it comes to each one of us too this day, for it is also very important that you do not under perform, when it comes to what God has called you to do, even as He spoke to Jeremiah, the prophet – But the Lord said to me, ‘Do not say I am only a child. You must go to everyone I send you to say whatever I command you. [Jeremiah 1:7] He made you; and He sends you. All you need to do, is to focus on what He has called you to perform. If you are able to do what you yourself can do, there is nothing great about it. But if you do what God has planned for you, it may seem beyond your capability, it will be made possible by His grace. Therefore, may your prayer be that the Lord would enable you to think right, through a renewal of your mind, and that it is all about His amazing grace, and the fullness of Christ. Father, We thank Thee for being a God of clarity and not confusion,. May we through Your word be led to have a grace empowered thinking, a mind renewed, that we may fulfill Your will for our lives, to be blessed that we may be a blessing that You may be glorified, and we may find true fulfillment. In the Name of Christ Jesus Amen.
