Blessing – Divine Perspective

Tell the righteous it will be well with them, is the promise of hope that can be established in you, for you have been made righteous in Christ. And may it see the promise of God be manifested in every aspect of your life – The Lord will bless you out of Zion; And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem All the days of your life. [Psalms 128:5-6] The Godly blessing of God in your life is reflected in a Godly growth that takes place in you, by a craving for the pure unadulterated word of God in you. [1 Peter 2:2] And by prayer, not as a ritual but in a relationship of son-ship with God as your Heavenly Father, through His Son Jesus Christ, as your Blessed Savior, His divine desires are birthed in you, through which His promise of blessing to you becomes your personal experience. Prayer therefore is a celebration of your relationship with God, as your Father, and it sees you by calling into Him, and He Himself answering you, to be led to being more and more conformed to the image of His Son Jesus Christ. It is prayer through which it becomes possible and can be seen in the apostle Paul’s sincere and heartfelt prayer for the church at Ephesus, a rich passage that resonates with a powerful expectation.

Eyes of the heart flooded with light:

Even as he gives thanks unto the Father, for the faith that was in the Ephesians, it is for a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that is the prayer of the apostle [Ephesians 1:15-19] Having the eyes of your heart enlightened, or flooded with light, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints; [Verse 18] And what is the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His great might. The process of seeing, involves two entities, eyesight and light, being in the right condition. And it gains greater significance spiritually, to be able to perceive the things of God, and assimilate the truth of God, to move forward in the plan and purposes of God. Therefore it is the eyes of your heart that need to be enlightened; and by the true light that enlightens any man, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. The progress of your life need not be stopped then by ‘bad light’, or in other words your social background, caste, and similar criteria that play an important role in the gentile world around you. All that matters is surrendering yourself into the hands of the Blessed Savior, so that you may receive and walk in the enlightenment that He alone can give you. For,

With HIM is the fountain of Life:

With Thee is the fountain of life; In your light, we shall see light. [Psalms 36: 9] He not only gives you life to do what you need to do in your life’s circumstances, He becomes your life so that He may accomplish His will, His good plan, and purposes in your life. It was what Joshua proclaimed to the people of Israel, making the options before them, very clear and specific, ‘I set before you this day, life and death, blessing and cursing; choose life that you may live’. [Deuteronomy 30:15] In other words, He is not only the source of your life but also becomes your life. And as a fruit of it, the scriptures declare that you are divinely empowered with all that you need for life and godliness. [2 Peter 1:3,4] for when you put your trust in Him, He richly provides everything for your enjoyment. [1 Timothy 6:17]  You need not merely survive, therefore, just making ends meet, but can live, flourish, and thrive for His glory, when He becomes your life. You live even as He lives, it is written in the scriptures.

Light in His light:

Being enlightened is all about seeing light by the illumination of the Holy Spirit. You may have come to worship this day, in the house of God, with a lot of questions, doubts, and lack in your mind. And it is what the rational mind does, to pinpoint what needs to be fulfilled or set right in your life. But you are a spirit being. Therefore as you are revived in your spirit, by the Holy Spirit, He brings illumination in you so that you can understand with your rational mind, and bring to practical experience, the truth that He has already made available all that you need to live a life for the glory and honor of His Name.

Light – in the light of His word:

Illumination from the Spirit comes as you meditate upon the word of God, to throw light during a very challenging situation, maybe an unexpected sickness in your life, by giving you a promise in your spirit, that shines as a beacon, giving strength, comfort and encouragement to find rest, as you believe in it. And He Himself will make you believe, to also heal and deliver you. The power and the immutability of the word of God make it possible for you to live, not merely exist or survive. And mystical experiences with the Holy Spirit cannot be negated, but they can be subjective, and sometimes deceptive. Therefore stick to the light of the word.

Light – entrance by word:

In the beginning, for light to come, God said, ‘Let there be light; and there was light’. [Genesis 1:3] Light is in the word. And when you read the word, you will see that God floods your heart with light, so that in His light you will be able to see that God is the fountain of life who has made everything you need for your life, in every circumstance, available. The entrance of Your word brings light; It gives understanding to the simple. [Psalms 119:130] Darkness disappears very very swiftly, with unimaginable speed, when light appears on the scene. It is how the darkness of the devil will flee from your life when the light of His word enters your heart. May you see light in the light of His word, every day. And in the light of what He has said You only need to say, what He has already said – All the promises of God are Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus. Those who seek the Lord will lack no good thing. In the light of what He has said, you can say- ‘He is my life, and the length of my days.’ We thank thee, Father, for enlightening us by flooding our hearts with the light of Your word, for being our life, giving us all that we need. And because of Your mercy and grace, we do not have to live groping in the dark, for the same word that brought light into the universe, is now bringing light into every nook and corner of our lives, that we may shine for thy glory. And with Your help, we can see light in Your light, for with Thee is the fountain of life. In the Name of Christ Jesus Amen.
