Proverbs 28:13 says “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy”. By Confessing our sins it confirms that we are sinners. All though that is good, only through confessing what Christ the Lord, our Saviour has done for us on the cross, there is redemption for our sins and restoration in our lives.
Speaking about the problem is only going to make things more miserable but speaking of the one who changes our problems will bring the right solution by getting rid of the sin to inherit the blessing into our lives. Forgiveness and deliverance are interlinked with each other. The assurance that God has forgiven our sins brings complete deliverance to us.
His mercy not only changes our past but also helps us in the future. For, he knows our weaknesses, he is right there with us always to help us through. His compassion towards us is fresh every morning. We can trust Him completely. Proverbs 28:13 (Lamentations 3:22-23) The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases! His mercies never come to an end. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. His mercy gives us hope for the future so let us rely on our Lord Jesus wholeheartedly.
