The everlasting God who loves you with an everlasting love is ever ready and ever willing to answer your call. And He will explain, to give in you, the expectation of a fulfillment of His promise to you that says glory. [Psalm 102:16] He will certainly build you, and all that is connected to you. And it happens in a process, the key of which lies in a relationship, a relationship in which the Almighty God Himself becomes your Heavenly Father, through your faith in His Son, Lord Jesus Christ. It is how in a revelation from Him, that comes to you by His Spirit, you come to a realization that He has good plans for you. Circumstances may speak to the contrary, but you have a future and a hope. It is why your life is one that needs to be invested, and not merely lived or existed, or just marked your attendance, so to speak! And instead of missing the mark, which is sin or transgression, it can leave a mark in the lives of people, for the blessing of Abraham is yours this day, when you are a child of God, by faith in the Son of God.
Indeed, He will surely bless you, that you may be a blessing, as your life is built up, by a demonstration of His glorious power, that is revealed in His Fatherhood. It is His marvelous work of grace, one that He explains to you, in your time of prayer, as you hear from Him, to know His thoughts and His ways that are higher than yours. And His loving invitation to you is Call unto Me and I will answer you. And show you great and mighty things that you do not know. [Jeremiah 33:3]
It is the future that lies unknown before you, and can therefore cause fear and doubt within you regarding how your life is going to be. And the pandemic has disturbed the mental well being of so many people all over the earth. But, it is where His word leads and guides you, when your trust is in the Maker of heaven and earth, who is a God of foresight, and not hindsight. The rude shock that has surprised the whole world, did not come as a surprise to Him. His plans towards you are of goodness, welfare and peace, even though the world is becoming increasingly chaotic and selfish. And He will make them known to you, explain the intricacies of it, that you may walk in it, to find rest and fulfillment.
It all comes to pass as you seek Him in prayer. God is not far away, and very difficult to catch up on and communicate with, as some tend to erroneously assume. For, in the blessed power of the new covenant, the Spirit of God is in you. He is as close as close can be, and will never leave or forsake you. He knows your every need, and your every word even before it proceeds from your mouth. And it is such a great and loving God who desires to speak with you, and show you the path appointed by Him uniquely for you, so that you may rise up to your God given destiny. For, it is the call of God upon your life, that leads you to be built up in your life, even as you surrender to Him willingly, to lay hold of that for which He has laid hold of you. And as you walk with Him in progressing intimacy, you will know and experience how pleasurable it is to hear Him speak to you. For, He hears your prayer, and loves to answer your prayer.
Many things both big and small could be disturbing your peace right now. And sharing your nagging thoughts with Him in prayer and faith will never be an exercise in futility. For, He will surely answer, in His way, and in His time, the time that is beautiful, for He has made all things beautiful in His time!
And, yes, there could be many things that you are unable to understand or comprehend, as you walk through life here on earth. In fact, as the apostle Paul recounts, you may not even understand yourself! And so, you can feel wretched, when you end up doing things because of a war within you, and the law of sin, works in the members of your body, to make you cry out, ‘Who will deliver me from this body of death?’. [Romans 7:24] But in the very next verse, Paul declares his victory, and so can you,to declare Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. [vs 25] You can have victory in Christ now, to deal with and overcome the works of the flesh, that you may make progress in the path that has been appointed very specially for you by God. For, the finished work of the Savior on the Cross, makes all the difference! And it is why you can now deal with life’s experiences that could cause grief, guilt, or a feeling of grudge in you. They can be addressed with a godly perspective that makes you more than a conqueror. For otherwise the negative emotions can be instruments in the hand of the devil, that mar the beauty of the Builder’s design for your life.
You were created to love and not betray. Betrayal is a moral injury that a person commits, and can lead to guilt. And what better example of it could be there, than the act of Judas who betrayed the Lord Himself. And one very well knows, how his life ended for he did not deal with his guilt rightly.
Grief could be incredibly painful; and is an emotion that you and I, experience at some point in our lives. It is akin to going through a dark valley, but needs to be approached with a divine perspective, that brings hope and eternal life. It should not be like the sadness of the one, about whom; it was said ‘he died and she stopped living’!
And grudge was the negative reaction of Cain, when God looked kindly upon Abel’s offering, and not his, even as He pointed out what he needed to do. But Cain, instead of comprehending the will of God, chose to compare, and fell prey to sin that was crouching at the door.
It all goes to show how when what the Father has not planted are not uprooted, they can consume you and keep you from knowing and doing the good and perfect will of God that He has envisaged and made possible by His grace and your faith in Christ Jesus. But it need not be the end of the road, for you can speak to God in prayer, as you call unto Him. And He will answer you, to lead you out of the darkness of sin and shame. You can indeed awaken and arise from the dead that the light of Christ may shine on you, showing you the path ahead in which His presence is with you, giving you rest. Therefore you are –
It is one argument that you can joyfully lose one that says, ‘Come let us argue, that your sins that are as scarlet, can be made white as snow’, is the invitation of promise, straight from the mouth of God. [Isaiah 1:18] It is true for the Cross has accomplished it, and requires from you only by faith to gratefully receive the fruit of the marvelous transaction that took place on Calvary. The chains of guilt need not bind you anymore, for the punishment for the sins of the whole world has been carried away by the Lord Jesus, who by one sacrifice, has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. It is how the apostle Paul was able to say of his life, ‘I have wronged no one’. for it is all about the grace of God, the Blood of Christ that cleanses you of all unrighteousness. Guilt need not eat you up on the inside anymore, when God does His work of forgiveness in you, flooding you with overwhelming gratitude. And, one can so easily have bitter haunting memories, that cause pain and grief even at the end of one’s life. But dealt with a divine perspective, you will know that Christ in you, is the hope of glory, an eternity that you can look forward to with absolute joy!
Fear of the unknown that lies ahead, anxiety concerning your children are all so very real, and it is when casting all your cares upon God as you pray and meditate upon His word will see the peace that passes all understanding guard your heart and soul in Christ Jesus. He will wrap you in His arms of love, letting you know that you also are His child, and He can handle it all. So, speak to Him; He is just a prayer away! There is absolutely no need for outsourcing, when it comes to prayer.
For, there is only one Mediator between you and God your heavenly Father, the Man Christ Jesus, and your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; The Almighty God is even now upon His throne, before whom millions of angels are in worship and adoration, but ‘Amazing grace’. is a song that only you and I can sing and not them. For, having been gloriously redeemed from sin, He is now your Father, who knows your every need, big and small. He knows what is the best for you. And He can certainly give it to you. He loves you with an everlasting love to give you what you need, and not what you want, for you may operate at times in your fleshly instincts. All you need to do is speak to Him, communicating with Him in a personal relationship, that is a common union with Him, to express your dependence wholly upon Him. It is His help and sustenance that will carry you through. He knows, and He cares. And what He speaks to you, is what counts.
‘For I know the plans I have towards you’ declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not harm, to give you a future and a hope. [Jeremiah 29:11] And your responsibility is to speak to the One who has a plan for you. For, when you call upon Him, He will hear you and answer you. [Jeremiah 29:12] And every word that He speaks to you, will bring a powerful change in your life. Speak to Him as to your loving Father, Savior and Redeemer, who knows what He is doing, and has already done what needs to be done to appropriate and apply in your life even now, that He may be glorified.
You have a faithful God, who is your Father. His hand has provided all that you need, and will ever need in your life. For, great is His faithfulness towards you; And may your heart’s cry unto the Father, be one of thanksgiving and praises you walk in the privilege of calling unto Him, that He may show you great and mighty things that you do not know, to reveal the good and perfect plan that He has prepared for you.
