Thanking Him for His faithfulness, may you hear God’s voice speak into your heart, preparing you for what He has prepared, for those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. [Psalms 34:10]
Hope, that does not disappoint:
The goodness of God, that is hope, becomes your experience for the love of God has been poured into your heart by the Holy Spirit. [Romans 5:5] It is a hope that does not disappoint for it finds its source in God, and its foundation is in His word. As the Spirit of God leads you into all truth, giving understanding to know that His thoughts and ways are higher, than yours, you will receive clarity concerning difficult circumstances that are seemingly disappointing, for No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him. [1 Corinthians 2:9] And you love Him, because He first loved you. [1 John 4:19] Therefore you can say, that it has been prepared for those whom He loves. And this is how you know what love is – Jesus Christ has laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for others. [1 John 3:16] In other words, God is love, and the love of God has been poured into your heart that you may experience it and express it to others. And love never fails, because God never fails.
A special place, special portion, special spirit from God:
Therefore you can have the assurance of knowing and believing that He who has prepared a special place, and a special portion, is also preparing you that you may experience it to taste and see that He is a good God, who never fails. And your heart needs to be prepared to receive it. The solution is also from Him ,for it is written – God has revealed it to us by His Spirit. [1 Corinthians 2:10]
The SPIRIT makes the difference:
We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. [Verse 12] It is only then that revelation of God will make sense, to give you understanding. Otherwise this would describe you – The man without the Spirit of God does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, for they are spiritually discerned. [Verse 14] You believe by faith and not sight; faith in the written word.
Only believe:
If a friend presents you a winter chalet in France, the written deed would be sufficient authentication or proof of ownership, that it is yours. Similarly, what has been prepared for you by God, is what is written in the scriptures, the written word of God that you hold in your hand. And what a Friend you have in Jesus, who has laid down His very life for you. But it is the Spirit who gives in you, the enabling to understand this marvelous truth. When you are going through a time of sickness, it is by the Spirit’s empowering that you can believe the truth of God’s report, to experience that By His stripes you are healed. For, facts can change; but truth never changes.
Knowing what has been graciously given:
In this era of technology, when everything is being increasingly computerized, a QR code accomplishes numerous things. What is undecipherable scribbles of black and white, to the smartphone in your hand makes perfect sense. It becomes the information that is needed for doing a particular task. It can be seen by it, that knowing the mechanism means everything.
The analogy of the ‘QR’ code:
And the written word to the natural man would be very much like a QR code, black letters on a white paper, but not making any sense at all. And one can even be literate enough to be able to read the word of God, just like reading any other book. It is with the understanding that comes through the Spirit, when He is in you, that while reading it, you will see colors that makes your life colorful. And God wants you to come to a place of understanding, knowing that whatever your problem maybe, He has prepared a solution for it, and you only need to receive a revelation of it through the Spirit.
In the beginning was the Word:
And the word of God needs to be your first step, instead of your last resort, for man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the Lord. Therefore, even as you pray that the Lord would open your eyes to see the wonders in His word, He will lead you into all truth, His word that reveals His purpose, and the enabling of the Spirit, giving you a right understanding of it, that you may succeed in fulfilling His will for you, in your present situation. He has a plan for every season of your life, and He watches over you.
The ‘I will’ of God is God’s will for you:
And when you have a right understanding of the above truth, by the enabling of the Holy Spirit, you will begin to think differently, to co-operate with the wonderful plans that He has prepared for you; and it is not limited to a mere seventy or eighty years. Even when you are ninety, you remain His child! And you love Him, for He has first loved you, to know that He will rescue you, and He will protect you. He will answer you, be with you in trouble, and deliver you, to settle you. He will satisfy you, as only He can satisfy. [Psalms 91:14-16] As you are planted in His courts, by His presence He will satisfy you, that you may bear fruit even in old age, staying fresh and green, to declare that the Lord is upright. [Psalms 92:13-15]
God’s word – the connection:
The word of God connects your spirit to the Holy Spirit, to bring revelation in your spirit by the enabling of the Holy Spirit bringing a renewing of your mind, to be in alignment with the truth of His word. Let Him do the enabling – Fundamentally there is something wrong in you and I, the sin factor having corrupted us all. It makes you miserable, even as the apostle Paul admits. [Romans 7:24] But it need not remain so. For, when the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. And even as you call unto Him, He will change your original setting, do a wonderful work of grace in you, bring about an enabling of the Spirit, an understanding of the wonderful things in store for you, that they may become your portion in life. May you choose to be holy, set apart to do His will, even as we pray Father, We thank thee for your love, your word, the plans you have already prepared for us. Change our settings, Lord, removing what needs to be removed, purifying us, drawing us closer to thee, enabling, empowering us to move forward in obedience to your will, from fear to fruitfulness, from frustration to a flourishing finish, that You may be glorified. In the Name of Christ Jesus Amen.
