In Christ – Divine Help

He is your refuge, your fortress, your friend in need, and He is your God and Savior—that you may worship Him with all your heart, seek His face throughout your life, and serve Him with all that you are, to be blessed by His favor upon every aspect of your life. (Deuteronomy 12:11) As it is written in the Scriptures, the favor of God was upon Noah, making him responsible for the salvation of his family. (Genesis 6:8) By faith, he built an ark according to the instructions given by God, in reverent obedience. (Hebrews 11:7) Today, you are called to build your life upon the Rock of Christ, shaped by Scripture—in Christ, through Christ, and for Christ—leading to transformation. This is Christian living: the process of Christ becoming your life.

Putting Off the Old, Putting On the New: How does this transformation happen?

The apostle Paul explains it in his letter to the Ephesians. (Ephesians 4:21–24) But it is not easy—and it cannot be accomplished simply by following a set of instructions, like assembling a product you purchased online. Imagine how much easier it would be if the very one who created the product came and sat with you, guiding you step by step until it all came together perfectly. That is exactly what God does to help you.

God Is with You to Help

Paul understood this well. In the midst of personal difficulties, he experienced the help of God firsthand—as the Lord stood by him and made everything possible. You also have a responsibility: to do your part in fulfilling what needs to happen in you. But the truth remains—you cannot do it without Him. And God will do only what He needs to do, while helping you do what you need to do. “Without Me, you can do nothing,” said the Lord. (John 15:5) For godly results, you definitely need Him. (Acts 2:36,39)

How Does God Help You?

A cleansing of your heart is needed. And God Himself accomplishes it: “I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit in you and move you to follow My decrees and be careful to keep My laws.” (Ezekiel 36:25–27) “I will,” the Lord declares It is His will for you—and the beauty is that He will do it! Only He can do it. Understanding Comes by the Spirit. You may be able to read the Word of God, but understanding comes only by the Spirit and the power of God, not through human strength.

He Prepares You to Receive

This is seen in the life of the Ethiopian eunuch, who was reading the Word on the road and was humble enough to receive understanding from Philip, who was sent by God to him. The eunuch believed, was baptized, and went home rejoicing. (Acts 8:26–40) God will prepare you, too. You have a personal Savior. You need the help of Christ in your life. And when you realize what He has done for you, you will do what you need to do. On the day of Pentecost, God took the first step—the Cross. The people were cut to the heart and asked Peter what they should do. They heard, believed, and responded. (Acts 2:36–41)

Cleansing by the Word – A Deeper Truth

For true cleansing to happen, you need the Word of God, which is: A double-edged sword A refining fire, A consuming fire, A hammer that breaks rocks to pieces. Only the Word nourishes and changes you. You need God—and His Word. God takes His Word and applies it to your heart by His Spirit, giving you understanding. You then recognize what needs to be removed and what needs to be done.
Nothing about how God works in your life is accidental. It is divinely ordained.

He Removes What Is Filthy – Your Idols

You may have thought your actions were normal—until the light of His Word reveals that they are ungodly. And He gives you the strength to let them go. God will help you let go, as He removes all idols from your life. To recognize your idols, you must have your priorities in order: God → Spouse → Family → Work
God will give you the wisdom to reorder your life. If change is needed, He will reveal it to you so that your situation can be transformed.

Greed Is Idolatry (Colossians 3:5)

If your trust in money is greater than your trust in God, He will remove that misplaced trust—so that you come to know this truth: “My God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) Too often, we believe the doubt planted by the enemy rather than the truth spoken by God, who promises to be with us in every circumstance—to protect, deliver, and satisfy us. (Psalm 91:9–14) But He will change every circumstance to fulfill His promises.

Let This Be Your Confession:

“God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.” (Smith Wigglesworth) God’s Word will not return empty. It will accomplish the purpose for which He sent it. He will cleanse you—and you will be clean. He has promised to be with you until the end of the age—you will never be forsaken.
And as you keep your focus on Him, your face will be radiant, and you will never be put to shame. “Lord, Have Your Way in Me” Let this be your humble prayer, as you offer your heart to be cleansed and made new, free from anything not from above.

Closing Prayer

Father, we thank You for Your wondrous presence and Your incorruptible Word that has come to us today. We thank You for giving us Your Son, and for all that He has accomplished for us on Calvary. You will cleanse us, and we will be clean. You will heal us, and we will be healed. You will provide, and we will be satisfied. You will be with us always, and we will never be lost or lonely. We thank You for being such an awesome God in our lives. May we glorify and honor You forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
